Note: Just after the PS3's softwear update I found these new events and with out thinking I just ran them all and beat them all. This one was a bit eazy with some nice pay outs. I ran my Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI GSR T.M. SCP '99. Tuned out to 230 hp / 1191 kg / 449PP.

My driving options for all five (5) tracks are: Traction Control [2] Active Steering [Strong] ASM [Off] ABS Level [1] Controller Sensitivity [6].

OK, they are easy and you have finished them; now you can experiment with something.

The example cars are relatively heavy and you are dealing with a bit over 200HP, some of them are AWD. There should be zero tire spin, so why not try these again without any Traction Control? I can't imagine that you will miss it.

I've only done Tsukuba so far...

Stock Mitsubishi VR-4 Turbo (J) '98. Fully broken-in.
Only things purchased were oil, engine/chassis refresh, tires, rims & paint.
Put 200Kg ballast in the trunk (coming in at a total of 1,880Kg's Smiley Very Happy) & lowered power by one tick to 450PP. Got low 1:06's, won by over 16 seconds.
-----
Removed all ballast & limited power back down to 450PP. Got 1:05's, won by over 17.5 seconds.
-----
Limited power down to 410PP. Got 1:08's & won by over 5 seconds.
-----
Now, time for me to add some non-hp/pp parts, limit the power some more & see where I end up. Smiley Happy

The Tsukuba race can be won as low as 350PP, perhaps even 345PP depending on the opponent line up. Other than that, I took a stock '91 RX-7 from the premium dealership to complete the rest and breezed past the AI, even at 26PP below the limit, it was absolute overkill.

An easy money seasonal event.

Well I have only one comment. As the OP said, these races are easy, exception being the Toscana time change where I constantly out run the capacity of my headlights, and just can't do any btter than 5th.

I increased the exposure to +1.0  in the OnTrack Quick Options, it helped me get the win.

Also thanks for the tip.  But I must admit to some level of stupidity here; how to change the exposure thingy, not sure I know what or where it really is.

when you are on track, pause the race with the Start button, click on the 4 squares and scroll up to Exposure, using + for night races and - for the snow tracks helps a lot.
