Round 7 was better.
I haven't been able to get at least 3rd on the one-make race.

That's referring to round 8 of this year's GT Academy (now finished) in which you win the car that you can then use in this seasonal.

Good to see you BlackIceLSC.  I suspect you have been idle from GT5 for a little while and missed the whole Academy thing?

Ok every one I "Officially" hate this race series, I'm only able to get 5th and that car handels like "SH!%E"!!!! Smiley Surprised I had to work my but off to move up for 7th. An as I have bean all over the road, trying to time trial is our of the question.

PD waited till the end to give us the hardest trial ever! Smiley Indifferent  The one-make should have bean 2 laps not one!

The one good thing is that I have a LV 20 coupon so I'm not going to keep huting my hands on this one.  I got all my cars and the one trial suit so that's it for me!

An thanks for the "Kudos".Smiley Wink

My settings... got the lead car by the kink on the long backstraight  nefore the fast chicane leading up to the finishline. Won by 1.9 Seconds.

Weight - unchanged.

Suspension - Full customized

Ride height F -12/ R -12

Front Springs 15.1

Rear Springs 15.9

Dampers 8/8 Comp./Ext. Front and Rear

Sway Bars 6/6 Front and Rear

Front Toe 0.0 Rear Toe 0.10

LSD 12 Init/ 48 Accel. 24 Decel.

Front wing 14 Rear Wing 24

Full Customized Transimission set to 180/188 Top speed

All Intake and Exhaust parts

Engine untouched... no power limiter adjustment. Makes about 442 HP.

No TCS No Skid Recovery Force ABS set to 1

The secret I think lies with cranking downforce on this car. It still steps out a little but it's manageable. I've done it in 2 accounts so far... 3 more to go. What i'm amazed at is the 7:22.xxxx for the top time in the time trial... best i've done so far isa 7:46.3 for 2151st on leaderboard....

If you're not within 3-4 seconds of the lead car by the timesplit that starts the long backstraight you will not win...

I'll try your settings but I will have to add weight and I added the engine tunning. Maby I should open my coupon on my first account. I'm still thinking about that. Smiley Sad  but I will try your settings any way. On the one-make race.

Well no these settings didn't work for me I only got 11th and the car handeled more like a drift car than a race car. I had to fight the oversteer and the under steer the hole race and that was just to much. My hat is off to your ablity to drive with every thing off!  I tryed turning TCS to 7 SRF Off, AS Off, ASM On and ABS to 2 an you see all I could get was 11th. I still hate this trial. We asked for it to be a bit harder and they gave us what we demanded.

Edit 2: I had to change some setting levels to keep the car on the road and this time I came in 5th. I'll keep working on it but the car sucks. It looks sweet sitting still and in real life drives really well at medum speeds but in the GT world this car sucks big time!

The rear Toe Angle of 0.10 like 0.20 still gives the rear wheels to much wheel spin. Setting the Toe Angel down to 0.06 stops that over wheel spin. I learned that from Peyepete.

From a part owner of the real car PD you did not set this car up right!!Smiley Mad

Edit 3: I ran the car on the time trial and Smiley Very Happy came in at 8:40.+ in the 12416th spot. An I was able to keep the car on the road.

The car power is at 325hp, weight 1165 and 513 PP. I used all the down force on both the front and rear.

TCS 2, SRF off, AS off, ASM  on, ABS 2....  I did these bad runs on my girls account.
