Yes, it is inconsistent, more incongruous.
Expert level events should have the highest application of penalties, too.

The Puegot 106 is 4 wd. But I tried it & not .
Can't seem to get past 2nd at Eifel no matter what car & set up I use.
If only it was 6 laps instead of 5 . lol

Actually, both the Rallye and the S16 are FF. Perhaps you mean the 206 or the 205? The 206 Rally car is the only 4wd of that model we have though.
So, 205?

And therein lies the problem, according to PD's own event description "These are expert level races for compact cars.." yet they force everyone to use a driving aid that (according to their description) is "for beginners". Don't get me wrong I've got nothing against beginners and I'm certainly no expert but it really smacks my giblets when pull stuff like this.
If they want to make an easier race for beginners that's cool but at least identify it as such, have SRF or any other driving aid enabled from the get go but at least give us the option to disable them. All it needs is a simple note like "This is a beginner level event, some driving aids are enabled by default that more proficient drivers may wish to disable before starting the race" and it would be fine.
A request to have them stop doing this and to make these Seasonals more congruous has been sent in.

After a number of attempts, I finally cleared the Eifel course, in a tricked-out Polo. I had used a Civic (it aced everything else), but it would not let me continue using it for this event, even though it had let me use it yesterday. Three categories of restrictions were yellow and all of them were within regs.
Beats me...

Right again White , The TVR is definitely the car to use , & you were right about going against the civic as the lead car too. I would have never thought to use the TVR if I hadn't read yer post. I was stumped , using the Minis , Peugots , & Civics , even the Focus.
I cycled through Eifel until the Civic was the lead car & breezed past it on the last lap. THANK YOU.
I took all the other races with the Peugot & Minis .
My prize car was a Triumph Spitfire. You stated the prize car was the Gathers ?
I already have every car in the game (& then some ) but still enjoy the challenge of the seasonals.

I took a hint from White_R34 using the TVR V8S to win at Eifel. That was the only race I had any problem with so thanks White_R34 for the suggestion.
