Retired Driver Today

10 replies 337 views Edited Feb 14, 2013

I had to let my best driver go today. With 214 wins of  215 races, today was his first lose and gray bars was appearing. He was not my first driver, fired two before around L32 because they could not hold a straight line. He was the first to L40 and could drive as if on rails and could win with 50PP handicap. He will be missed.Smiley Sad

Wow, you are one tough manager.  One loss and you toss the top tier driver out.  Smiley Tongue

In the 9hr endurance he lost 25% of his abilities, the gray bars had come for him. The race he lost after that was an easy one to win. The next best driver has a 10% second place rate with 173 races run. Now the two new drivers are at  0 of 18, not looking to good for them. At L18 they should be able to make it around Daytona in the truck race. Maybe I picked the wrong names and they are rebelling, or do they know that they are replacement players?

B-SPEC is funny, my  original driver now has 1752 races with 192 wins combining remote races with Bspec and his EXP bar is only 30%. At this rate he will have to run around 6000 races to max out his EXP. LOL

yeah mine is the same way. what the hell. the air of experience is the only trophy i still need for platinum. unfortunatly my intrest in b spec will never allow me to finish it. oh well, thankfully trophies mean nothing to me.

Remote races don't count towards the experience and the trophy.

If you do want that trophy and the platinum, you don't need to pay much attention.  Just run a lot of short B-Spec races (not remote), like the Sunday Cup over and over again.  Set and forget.   I did that to finish off my drivers experience.  Did it over a few days, mainly out of curiosity, but it was no big deal time wise because I could do other things around the house, just checking every now and again to restart a race.

Ya, I understand that they acrue no EXP in remotes but if it's going to be in the game and your into that aspect I would think they should gain EXP. Certainly if you have completed all of the BSPEC. It would be a nice perk for those of us who enjoy the BSPEC portion as apposed to it just being a bank account. I certainly cant see it as being difficult to administer.
