Not to expand this topic too much, but I noticed that, when repainting some cars, the interior color changes.
I belive this happened when I was repainting the '06 Ford Focus from blue to white or vice versa and the interior changed from blue to orange - or something like that. I was using the official Focus colors. I had wanted to have a blue interior with white interior, but ended up with the orange interior.
Is there any way to control interior color changes - i.e to make it happen or to prevent it from happening?

First time I noticed the changing interior color when repainting a car was with the Ferrari California '08 - unfortunately, I don't remember what happened to mine as far as interior color - I DO remember seeing the change of interior color almost immediately, but that could be due to that car being a convertible with the top permanently down...otherwise I might not have noticed the interior change as quickly as I did.

Honestly, I don't remember what I did to the car lol...if u want, I still have the one I won from an event - I had bought one not knowing at the time that it was a prize car...I eventually gave the one I had bought and fully upgraded to Chazz, but I'll switch to that car and see what happens...(trudges back across the house)...okay, apparently, it's either a one-time thing or u just have to find that perfect shade, 'cause I repainted my Cali 3 times and the interior stayed the same each time - all I know is that when I had painted the car, the interior color also changed. Wish I could remember what the original color was lol...u could ask Chazz - the one I gave him was painted in Californian Yellow (which is NOT one of the available factory colors if choosing that car), unless he repainted it.

I don't believe so, I've tried to get a specific interior with a specific exterior multiple times with no success. Lotus evora and Ferraris have many interior colours to pick from. The interior colour apparently responds to exterior paint with no way to stop it. It seems to give the interior colour based on closest match to whatever the factory combo was regarding exterior colour.
Slight exception for the 300 SL '54, some of the interior and dashboard is painted to match the exterior and will be recoloured anytime you paint it.
edit: Ferrari California roof is always up if you install a rear wing.

I never knew that about the Cali...I've always wondered what it looked like with the top up. As for the interiors, maybe I should've used the phrase "the right colors", instead of the perfect color in reference to the color change...perhaps it only does that with a small handful of vehicles - guess I'll just hafta pay more attention to that...not that it's a big deal or anything lol.
