I don't know if this fits the criteria for a non-paintable car - or if it has already been mentioned.

On the Suzuki GSX, I tried to repaint a car using GSX yellow.  I ended up with yellow "overspray" on the chrome part of the side panels.  The stock yellow version has chrome sides.  I assume that you would have the same problem is you tried to repaint a car using the other colors, such as red or blue.

Fortunately, we now have Level 8 tickets so I am trying to get stock versions of all the colors.

How about a chromed paint? That way you don't lose the chrome.

That might work, especially if I can find a chrome yellow.  But then it wouldn't be an "official" color.

The reason I did it was that I was getting tired of trying to find a stock yellow version in the UCD and wanted to make my own yellow version using the official GSX-yellow paint.  Fail.

Several things.....

The 1954 Chevrolet Corvette (C-1) comes in 4 colors and they are NOT repaintable.

The Shelby Series One can be painted, but the stripes fade after the re-paint.

There are roughly 25 Plymouth Hemi Cuda's that are collectable:

Snow White

Spinnake White

Rallye Red

Tahitian Walnut Metallic

Burnished Red Metallic

Amber Sherwood Metallic

Sassy Grass Green

Evening Blue Metallic

Glacial Blue Metallic

Curious Yellow

Sandalwood Beige

April Green Metallic

Tor Red

Bahama Yellow

Formal Black

Sherwood Green Metallic

Gold Leaf Metallic

Coral Turquoise Metallic

True Blue Metallic

Slate Gray Metallic

Tawny Gold Metallic

Tunisian Tan

My Ultlimate Goal ias to get all of the Vintage Muscle Cars Factory painted vehicles that are in the game - Paintable or Not

Still working on the Dodge 440 R/T's, the Dodge Super Bee's, The Plymouth Superbirds, the Pontiac Tempest GTO's, The Chevrolets - all of them - Camaros, Chevelles and Corvettes through 1971, and the Mercury Cougars. To date, I've collected about 150....there's a lot of 'em.

Hey GT_ALLSTAR_47,

Long time no see, my friend. Hope all is well with you.

I have many of the Camaros, Chevelles, 'Cudas, Superbirds, Cougars, Superbees, and Charger R/Ts. If I can get a list from you of colrs that you have, I can start sending ones to you that you don't have, as I get a chance. I know that I still have you on my PKR_SWERVGRIFFIN account, but you should also send me a FR on my SWERV_GRIFFIN account too. Regards, SWERV

I found a little something that disappears when painted. I ran across a white Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR '04. When bought stock from the used car dealership the spoiler end plates are black but when painted it will change. Only the end plates though not the entire spoiler itself.

Just thought I would share.

Mitsubishi GTO MR '70 loses most of its side stripe when painted - seems to keep the shading along the edges of the former stripes.

Can you (or someone) tell me what the other half of the four colours are?  'Black' and 'Pennant Blue' I have.
