I already had a ZR1 so I after reading this tip I went and race modified it. But you still need more upgrades like racing tires and supercharging. I won the Daytona after 3 or 4 tries beating the Nissan R92CP by less than 2 seconds.

But when I went to the Indy race, the best I can do is only 9th place. I get smoked by everybody from behind and can only re-pass a couple of cars.

What else needs to be done to this car to win this race?

Set the tranny to do 230-236mph.. Full downforce on the front and the back adjust the roll bars all the way up front and back and the brakes 8 in the front 7 in the back.  Just coast around the corners, dont brake & watch your mirrors constantly. Then you should win. Full modded Corvette ZR1 with race Mods as well..

I set my tranny to 249 and downforce to 35 and 35 and smoked it. My previous tune on my ZR1 couldn't do it, they all kept catching up to me.

I completed it with my mclaren with the trans cranked up. I struggled with the indy race, took me forever.

I tried both this setting and the one posted right above you and neither one worked. You just lose too much through the corners. The car won't turn. It kept bouncing off the walls. I got to 8th once but still about 7 seconds back.

I used the Zonda R with max power upgrades and downforce with Racing soft tires. Set the trans to 249 and catch the corners at about 210 and then hold down the gas. Much better than the ZR-1 Can't remember if I had to lower the ride height but if i did it was max down. good luck

Im trying to do this with my fully tuned McLaren F1 road car, its quite tough. Im doing Indy first, that R92 CP is just damn fast. I can catch him after about 380kmph and he can hang in the corners well enough. Fun race tho.

Re: Like The Wind!

I pray you are right, I have bought the mclaren f1, what a waste of cash that was, so I got the Corvette and race moded it and fully tuned it. I have yet to change any of the down force settings or any of that for any of my cars. I have yet to need to untill now. The best I could do last night was sixth at indy, the first race is easy, the bugatti wins every time. So what I am reading is that if I set the Corvette to :

Tranny - 230-236mph

Downforce - All the way, 35 35

Roll bars - All the way up

Brakes - 8 Front 7 Back

I really hope this is right, and thank you all in advance.
