The straight line is always the fastest one!

So hard to explain it. I'll try and draw it out or something when I get back from work. I am curious if HdUgT took the same route as me, or if he found an even better one.

Re: License Challenge XIV - LOST --- WITH RESULTS!

I found a map of the course online and downloaded it and edited it to include my path.

So let me guide you through my path so you dont get confused.

the Green lines indicate me moving forward and the arrows are just showing you the direction I'm going/facing. Now the blue arrows mean that I am going in reverse. So with that said, follow the numbers to see where I'm going and what I was doing.

1. Start the race with almost full RPMs before launch.
2. At the fork in the road, take a right.
3. And then another right, into the wall with one cone. As soon as you take out the cone, immediately go in reverse and back up into the 2 cones behind you.
4. Then go forward again and take a right (the way you just came in)
5. You have to turn Right here and go all the way down the path and turn left. (before hitting the last cone on that path (you'll get that later).
6. Hopefully you turned left before geting that last cone (before hitting the last cone on that path (you'll get that later)).
7. Continue down the path until you get the last cone infront of the wall.
8. Go in reverse and whip your car around to make the 90* turn
9. Accelerate around the corner, bonking the one cone. And then head the weaving area.
10. Enter the weaving area and make sure to bonk each cone (the DFP comes in handy with the stearing turned to 90* mode.
11. After weaving through all of those, take a left.
12. And then another left.
13. Go all the way down the path and hit the last cone and then go in reverse.
14. Whip the car around to face the new pathway and enter it going forward.
15. Take a left (the only way you can go down the path)
16. Slowly, but turning smartly, go through the little weave section.
17. You finished!

MasterGT, that path seems to me like its a lot of back tracking, but I guess not, since you almost got the same time I did. I'll try out your path tonight and see what I can do. I noticed you only had to back up twice in your path, and I had to back up three times. Maybe yours is a better path. Hmm.
