How to Remove Patch 2.10

3 replies 263 views Edited Jan 27, 2013

How do I remove the 2.10 patch?

The online races have become a joke now. The winners are the people using cars that go fast in a straight line but hard to corner with. This type of raceing is no fun.

Me and my friends do not like the 2.10 patch, it changed close to 2 years worth of data for this game. We would like to go back to before the 2.10 patch. We network our PS3's together and play so we dont need or want to play online anymore.

Delete game data, re-install updates through 2.09, avoid re-installing 2.10.

Remember though, without being updated to the latest version you may lose the ability to use the Stingray Final Prototype, and any future DLC.

Have you tried disallowing traction control?

Try that and see if it helps.  I do not know if it will, but it could help limit those "problem" cars, theoretically.  Also, running on anything not Racing Soft will also bring the PPs back in line.

Both TCS and Racing Softs are going to make those cars easier to drive, moreso than other cars.  Putting them on the proper tires will bring them back in line and even the field.

It's certainly easier to try than re-installing...
