Keep in mind that some of the new people are here to stay, and you will likely possibly come to respect.

Cobra1, for example, joined right before GT4 launched.

Good point.  And I have seen some posts by folks I don't recognize that were well written and thoughtful.  When I think of those I hope they stay.  But I do miss all of the education I used to get from our regulars.

Old age is not for sissies.

Re: Gran Turismo 5 Information thread

Dec 16, 2010

"First picked up by our own Amar212, SCEJ (Sony Japan) has announced that three free cars forGran Turismo 5 will be available to download from the PlayStation Store on December 24th. The free cars will be “Chrome Line” editions of the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640,  Jaguar XJ13, and a BMW M3 Coupe. Keep in mind this news report has – so far – only come out of Japan (though Japanese gaming site AndriaSang rather confidently states that “Anyone with GT5 will be able to make the download for free.”)"

What a joke. So I payed the extra money for the Chrome Line cars and now the're giving them out for free? Sure, the XJ13 is a new one and only 2 of the original Chrome Line cars are being given out but it takes away all the exclusivity that came with the cars originally.

Hopefully PD won't go handing out free Stealth cars.

I understand the gesture, but us folk that paid for the cars should feel hard-done-by. Maybe some new cars that weren't previously offered for money would've been a better choice. It's great we're getting the XJ13 but the Lambo and BMW shouldn't be offered - it would make sense to offer 3 new cars.

More like dissappointed, mate.

Why pay for something that's just gonna become free, except you don't know it's gonna be free until AFTER you've paid for it...
