Re: starts

Don't forget the GT Academy LAN finals, where we saw four cars staggered left-right-left-right with barely a car length of gap between them at the starts.

GT4 in LAN mode had an adjustment for spacing cars at the start, too, so it may not be a problem, one way or another.

Me to, I think its awesome to start with a nice drag race.  Now the Viper will be able to pull ahead of other super cars better.  Smiley Happy

You're being lapped, yield to the cars lapping you.

It's more a road racing thing, as the NASCABs can get by eachother pretty easily, especially if they're faster than the lapped cars.

On a road track, a slow car can back up the field pretty bad.

Blue Flags racing leaders/lap cars is a one way street to an argument.

One of the frist steps in respectful racing learn how to be passed, its up to you to slow and allow safe passage, on ovals this is as easy as taking the high line, yielding the lower. its also essential not to rush T1 and try and over take 3 cars. let the field settle then start your aggression.

Probably old news and not really officially official, but this may be interesting for some.......

According to Kazunori Yamauchi, the game has an optional hard drive install but to run the game, a 256MB space is required. The amount of space needed for the install is at least 10GB and gamers can expect a smooth experience. If this is indeed true,
