Re: GT5 Spec 2.0 update

OK, here is a GT2 car list and it seems many more cars could be modified than I ever heard about.

I don't know what the full count is, but I read one comment that about 90% could be RMed.

Hell, I'd be happy with just tracks ported over from GT4. Seoul and Midfield would be fun in the Karts, and Fuji '80s would be epic in the X2010.

Sparking some speculation:

Also, in the Apex book with the collectors edition, there are a few photo mode locations that we don't have, including the Wind Tunnel.

Time is going by so slow....Week 1, day 1.  3 weeks to go....

That would be nice. I could use some new tracks.....but I will just wait and see what we get and be happy when we get it. Even if we don't get new tracks I won't be mad because I still don't have all the cars I want in GT5 (I am talking about cars that are already in the game.)

Like waiting for Christmas . Seriously, though. After the GT Saturdays; when we were practicing for next week; someone mentioned that the crowds had been removed from the Madrid track and others. (Pardon my poor name recall). Some investigation showed that London also has no crowds, and a slow lap on the Eiger revealed incredible new backgrounds, and changes to nearly every aspect of the track.

Even Sarthe has major changes. Lots of new buildings, track workers in reflective gear, more reflective corner markers, changes to the track surface, and oh, by the way - I will definitely recommend a stop at the Dunlop bridge, turn around, and look at the view. Incredible!

I thought that these changes were to just the online portion - turns out that if you select the Pre-Install Game Files button in the options menu (under Utilities), then you will get the updates. The game likely will tell you that it will take nearly 50 minutes, but mine only took about 10. Dan_Zitions told me that he has updated this way nearly 9 times, and something has changed every time.

If PD is giving us these changes to prepare for ver 2, I can easily imagine that it's going to be HUGE!

Btw, the pit straight clock at Sarthe is also updated - its brighter, and shows the time

I know it is not good to speculate...But I seriously want either the bmw i8, m3gt or at the very least an M3 race mod. I know it isnt likely we'll get any of that, but hope never hurts haha.

It is all for not til 3 weeks from now but, I would think any tracks added would be part of the update plus a few cars from GT4 that where asked for. DLC would be more-less cars and parts. Things that online could handle uploading quickly.
