There's more to car culture than muscle cars. We in the United States represent a very small portion of the "car culture". Maybe when you start traveling and seeing what things are like in other countries, then you'd start to understand that.
lol.. sshh! The majority will be mad if you keep talking like that.
Can we have Killzone 2 back now, please?
I think I disagree, with out all the buyers in the US a lot of "car culture" would be dead or never fully realized... Yeah, muscle cars and like are just a part but we (US) are the leading consumer market by a long shot so a lot of goods are targeted at the US...
But that is a rather shallow way to look at it... No, we don't have cities anymore like they do in Italy that live and breath for Ferrari... Our version (Detroit) turned into a mass market manufacturing place with more crime than LA... and not a fraction the size. It's sad when an industry declines but sadder when it errodes continues to stay in buisness run with such incompotence...
Hey GM!? When you going to pay the American people back? Nice profitable year you had there on the backs of the American people... and still shut down your largest plants... How were you profitable? Oh yeah, you didn't have to pay back your government assistance... Hmm
Actually that is not quite true, there was over $30B that was not paid back and never will be. the only thing GM paid back was the interest on the principal.
Point being, it's a little more compicated that "they didn't/did payback the money". The same google search yeilded articles that go both ways.
What's true is they've paid back money.
