GT5 - Where is the YouTube Video Upload Function ?

12 replies 312 views Edited Nov 28, 2010

It was revealed that this new function for GT5 would be present, but it's not in the game...

This feature has been cancelled? If so it's very bad news!

I'm kinda  glad it didn't make it.  Because all of the FnF fantards would upload video after video of Civics, bronze medal special events and licence tests

I havent seen it either but what you could possibly do is save your video onto your playstation then transfer that to a media storage device and then put it on your computer.  I havent tried yet so i do nnot know if it works

If you can save the video to your XMB, there is a video editor on the Video section of your XMB. This video editor I believe also uploads to Youtube, if you so wish.

This feature is already built into the XMB?  I didn't know that!  Very cool and this would be the way to do it I guess.  Do you know if they upload in HD by any chance?

Haven't really played with the video editor much, aside from DL'ing Trailers, and downsizing them to go on my PSP, but here is a tutorial on the video editor:

Thanks for that...looks pretty straightforward but I will have to check the quality on YouTube. It saves it straight to .mp4 format which is the exact YouTube format so it should be pretty good...
