Re: GT Saturdays General Discussion

Jul 6, 2011

Event details have been posted for this Saturday's Event. (Link can be found in my signature or at the top of this thread)

Just for discussion, what car(s) will you bring?

I'm debating between the BMW McClaren Race Car or the Citroen C4 Rally Car.

I will try to join again this Saturday. I've missed the last few and I'd like to race in this again. As for my car, not sure yet. I think I have the McLaren Race Car so I might use that.

I'll definitely be there, and am open to suggestions on what car to bring.  I'm a bit poor at the moment having spent a good chunck of money on a Lamborgini Gillardo with all the trimmings.  So if it is not too pricey that'd be a big plus.

You can bring your new ride.  Just set it to 575pp.  Otherwise, take advantage of some of the high pay out seasonal events to earn some mula.  Plenty of race cars to shop for in the New Car dealership; find one, earn enough money plus some for parts, and dial it in.  If the trade limit wasn't in place, I would hook you up.

I don't have the McLaren Race Car. Any other ideas? When you say race car, are you talking about a RM car or say a JGTC car?

Pretty much any car.  Race car meaning you could use an LM/LMP car, JGTC, DTM, etc.  Anything that'll fit 575PP.  I recommend using a race car because they do have an advantage over a street car.

Umm lots to choose from, right now I think `66 Jaguar XJ13 race car or Mercedes CLK DTM racecar. Maybe I`ll buy a `69 Camero and RM it to spec.

With about 555PP, I'm getting about mid-1'08s, with the fastest just under 1'07.6, on Rome.

Check your gearing for the different courses.
