heh....I use my modified GT-350 and set the gear ratio with a top speed of 147 mph-ish...or go manual trans and get in to 5th gear ASAP.
you have the feather the throttle a ton though or the tires go red and take forever to cool off.
I am not a drifter by any definition of the term, but that car seems to have a decent amount of "torque to wheelbase" ratio that is favorable to my driving style.
Drafting? Draft this!
I havn't really done much drifting til recently in GT5, but I found that the new '10 Camaro SS is actually VERY good bone stock. It got me golds on both trials this time around...first time for that for me.
I need to find myself a Lotus Esprit V8 SE for drift duty though...that was my favorite car to slide around El Capitan in GT4.
There is no real "best" drifting car. Maybe for drift trials, where it is judged on things such as tire spin, the Cerbera Speed 12 would be the definite choice for it's power that allows to spin tires easily racking up points. My personal favorite drift car is the Mazda RX-7 TC. It looks good, and since it's a Touring Car, I can change the front and back downforce for when I need to make tighter turns and such. Another great car for drifting is the recently released Toyota 86 '12. It only has around 350-400 horsepower, but it's really fun to toy around with once you get the right suspension settings and gear ratios.
I dont know what the best drifting cars are but some of mine are my matte pink Impreza, AMC delorean, 97 and 88 supra, ae86, and toyota altezza, if yall see me send a friend request or line up for some tandem or cat and mouse.
