I recently picked up the '97 NSX. It might need some tweaking, or I might just need to control it better, but that thing I feel has serious drift potential. It's probably a **bleep** poor score, but the first time doing the drift tutorial I scored 2.9k with it after taking a few laps to learn how it handles.

Sorry, but Lancers? If you mean EVOs, then I have to say, AWD is for **bleep** on the drift course. Same goes for those frenchies who always use Imprezas and get in the way.
The cars I use mostly are
1990 RX-7(~230hp)
1990 Nissan Skyline GTS25(298hp)
Toms Chaser(400ish hp)
Dunlop ER34(the premium one)
C5 Corvette(~450hp, close to stock)
I just started to finally use my S.Shigeno Sprinter Trueno, and have been developing quite a technique with that.
I have plenty of other cars I like to sometimes take out to the track.
I WOULD SAY U SHOULD ADD THE CORVETTE ZR1 AND THE SPIRIT TYPE RX7 THOSE ARE ALSO GOOD DRIFTERS

I love all of the M3's. They have good balance and with the right power and tire adjustments they are amazing. I also love the lexus LFA
