Weekly Details

This week, we get to face some of our fears, to see if we can grow a bit. The RUF 'Yellow Bird' is difficult to handle and tune well, so we had the benefit of two weeks to get it, and us, in shape. The two tracks are close in length and have some other similarities, so your settings should work reasonably well on both courses.

Because of maintenance, our time will be cut short, so please be early and ready to race, especially because the races will be a bit longer, too. At 10 laps, figure on over ~23 minutes each. Spa will be closer to ~27, so there is no time to waste.

I'll join after I get my Logitec GT wheel.  I don't want you all thinking I'm experimenting with the artistic value of color combinations.

Other players use the DS3, so don't let having no wheel stop you from joining and learning how this works or from meeting other drivers. Smiley Wink

I wanted to get some ideas on how to tune this Yellow Bird (Porsche is not my forte) so I did some digging...here's a link to what I found:

A tester of dr_slump's tune ran a 1:17.9 with it.  Thought I'd share.

I can send a car to someone after the reset this evening, but that leaves little time for tuning.  I'll put one on share in case anyone wants to run offline practice in the meantime, time in the seat is helpful with this beast.
