Hey John how you been dude? I may end up being in town this weekend so if you or anyone else wants to practice at the usual time on Saturday, I'd be down for that. Been so long since I've driven these cars lol. I wonder how they are now with the new tire wear model? Anyways if anyone is around this weekend I'll run some laps if I can.
As for GTPlanet, I frequent that forum and I'll help Gojet out any way I can over there.

What's up Wagg!!, I must say that for some reason I lost a little interest in GT5 when the season 1 ended. I still don't have the time to commit to hosting a Saturday Supper GT, so hope this Le Mans Season 2 will get me back on spending more time with GT5.
Yea, since the F1 Season 2 ended on Saturday mornings, we can do some Saturday Practice like last season. What you say, same time "around" 10:30 am to 12:00 pm EST on Saturdays?
Anybody reading this are welcome to practice with us. We usually practice in private lounge so send me a FR if you don't already have me in your list.

Hey guys, is it just me? Just did some testing and the tire wear are way way different than before. I started with RS and wear it down to 50% after about 2 laps. Then I tried RM and wear it down to 50% after about 4 laps. Then with the RH it wear down to about 75% after about 4 laps, and then I stopped driving because I was not enjoying driving with it .
Anyway, my best time was just at 1:50's. I believe I can still shave off maybe 2 or 3 sec if I can get my mind off the tire wear issue.

Hey John, you mentioned you took a break from this game after season 1 of this series. During that time they changed the tire wear model significantly. There is so much more tire wear on the Le Mans cars that this season will be difficult lol to say the least. I have yet to practice at all for the first race and I will be in town this weekend so I'm down for practicing tomorrow for sure.

Yea, I knew about the updates and the tire wear differences. But, this was the first time I drove a Le Mans since the update and did not know it was THAT much different. So, If my tire wear was okay, then this means we will all be pitting at about 2 times with RH, 3 times with RM, or 5 times with RS?

I really don't know about tire wear in the Le Mans cars. I plan on being there for practice to find out though. I want to race this weekend since I won't be in town next week. I think I used the 787B, the Speed 8, the GTOne, the 905, and the R10 last season lol. I will try out the Minolta first tomorrow.
