that site seems useful!  i looked at a few FF set ups and ill be honest,  they arnt anything close to what im used to... then again im use to setting an FF to only have to turn left...   really you find the right gearing, the right tire size and AIR PRESSURES!!!!!  i cant believe that GT5 has no air pressure adjustments for tires!!!

Agreed...as much of an influence on the cars handling it has, you would think they would include it. But I guess it's another thing that they looked at and said "hmmm, no, they won't need that". LOL. it's all good.

So practice went great tonight. NoLimit was there for a bit and pete stopped in for a little bit too. I took some tips from the site for my 91 prelude. it was a little off from my style but after a few adjustments I dropped another second off my fastest lap.

My tune: 1:31.043

Tune from the site 1:31.028 (LOL yeah seriously that close)

Tune from the site plus my adjustments: 1:30.040 (also ran a 1:30.070 and a 1:30.043)

I want to get into the 1:29's but I'm too tired. Maybe on race day or some other practice night.

Tire wear may be an issue if I try to run laps at that pace but at a 1:31.5-1:32.5 pace, I think the tires will do just fine...But I guess that depends on how the rest of the field stacks up...

Holy crap!!!  That is an awesome pic!!!  Is that Gojet or NoLimit?  How on earth did a car get that high in the air??  LOL  Good stuff right there.

Must have been NoLimit. I was in the blue Focus. (Barely visible in third place; the closest I ever was to the lead)

Gojet-64 is now Encvell. (Gojet-64 is now only used for older games and Vita)

And that's me torturing my tires in the Alfa.

I'm slowest in this series and only 2 secs. off the pace. So, with 12 cars in every race this should be an epic season. I might beg to borrow some tuning tips for Madrid to see if I can become less of a moving chicane to avoid future passing maneuvers like this...

I would like this to be a learning tool for all of us. I want to see what kind of tunes you guys are putting on these cars. How do you guys compensate for the good for nothing lazy tyres in the back? I personally like them to work as much as possible and make them willing to do what ever i want when ever i want. thats my goal when tunning these FF cars. I know the car is fast but the tune could be faster.

Also, the ride height deffinately effects grip at the high speed turns. I was sacraficing grip at the slow parts of the track but that hard fast right at Tsukuba, i was flying faster than anyone else.

If any of you guys have any tunes to share, just post them up like Juan and I did.  I have started a section at the bottom of the Original Post, with links to each tune that's posted.  If you find a tune that works well from that other tuning site, or anywhere else, post it up anyway so we can all try it.  I'll add the tune with a link in the OP.  Hopefully this will help some guys in search of a better handling car.
