With nearly a month left to go until release, God of War 3 has stepped into the spotlight as arguably the most sought-after release of the coming months. The recent “Chaos Will Rise” trailer has made any doubters believers that this new-generation ending to one of the highest acclaimed series of all time will go out with a monstrous bang. To top that off, the recently unveiled God of War 3 Ultimate Edition has also captured the attention of both fans and non-fans around the globe. Several fans have questioned if the Pandora’s Box included with the God of War 3 Ultimate Edition is cheap plastic. However, according to Lead Animation Designer at SCEA, Bruno Velazquez, the Pandora’s Box included with God of War 3 Ultimate Edition is a high-quality product. Bruno stated the following on his official blog: I’ve seen the final Pandora’s box, actually I’ve held it. No assembly will be required. It feels heavy and really well sculped, this is no Happy meal, cheap plastic box by any means. If the Pandora’s Box is as high-quality as Bruno makes it seem, this collector’s edition might turn out to be one and most useful collector editions in quite some time. It is also worth noting that the God of War 3 Ultimate Edition also includes an exclusive art book and DLC including skins, a documentary and soundtrack. God of War 3 and the God of War 3 Ultimate Edition are scheduled to release on March 16th, 2010.
