God of War II

It seems all my friends are playing god of war 1 and totally forgetting about number 2! the 2nd one is a great game and the reason im playing it before the first is because i beat the 1st game on the PS2 and didnt finish number 2. But im wondering why no is playing number 2 even after beating number 1. anyone playing this game from the collection?

Even though I knew how the first game ended I hadn't played it what seemed like forever since my first PS3 pulled the YLOD (Yellow Light Of Death) on my ass and thus I couldn't play any of my games.  So my parents ended up getting me a new PS3 on my birthday and I couldn't play any of my PS2 games.  So I had to sell them.    Ah well.  Easy come, easy go.  Then after I killed Ares, I started playing the second game. 

So, as GodModeGod said, yes, we are playing the second game.

I am, had never played either on PS2 got a PS3 and decided to give it a try. Finished GoW1 and I'm a little more than half way through 2.

I hadn't been into the God of War series until I heard about the Collection being released, I figured it would be a perfect time to get into the series. I played both games and now I am anxiously awaiting the release of God of War III. I just preordered the ultimate edition last night, only a couple weeks to go

I am, or rather I was, but just after I passed the Garden of the Gods, I was scaling the ledges and it keeps going to a "Loading" screen (where it freezes, loads and is supposed to automatically resume.  It never does....)  Does anyone know if they have a patch to fix this issue?  I have GOW 3 waiting on me, but I just wanted to beat GOW 1, and 2....   I may just have to skip to 3, I beat it on my ps2, its just been a while
