Has anyone noticed, or cared that the tally for the dismemberment stat does not accumulate anything. I own the PS3 GOW collection disc and no matter how many time I have played this game the stat stays at zero. Yes, I have used the "O button" to grab enemies and was told that is how you dismember your enemies. Any help out there on this? Am I totally off base here? Is there anyone out there anymore?

Dismeber kills only apply to foes that have a special kill animation when finished off by the Blade of Olympus (in Bonus Play runs).

finally, thank you for explaining something that seems like it should be easy to find but is not. ?? Or am I the only one who was kept in the dark about this?

It's a fairly common question.  GoW1's Artemis has a "Mutilation" effect that works the same.
