People who aren't familiar with the game are the ones who will complain. This issue also spans differently over the two modes.
I don't know why people always brag about 15-1 in TFoTG. Compared to objective points it doesn't really give you much favour. When I play TFoTG my priorities switch straight to objectives because in the end that's what wins it for your team. I'll still fight the battles but I'm not so naive thinking we are going to win because I'm on a 10+ kill streak.
When I play MoC I'm more kill oriented but I realise objectives are important. Sometimes I get in a groove of killing people that I temporarily forget about chests. It's moments like these that cause me to lose matches every once e in awhile, even though I have the most kills in the game.
I think that's what makes this MP experience feel fresh. It's that you can contribute to the battle without solely being a killing machine. I feel like this would appeal to more ppl, especially those who aren't the best fighters yet, since you're still able to do well in the game.
Plus it does introduce further strategy into the match; should I get that kill for my team or grab that chest/alter for points? A balanced approach can help you be successful, however I've also seen plenty of matches where the ppl who've won have had more emphasis on one vs the other (more points from kills or objectives). In the end, it really depends how you want to play. Like DaBeast said, you can alter your tactics depending on what mode your playing. As long as you're having fun, it doesn't matter to me personally.
