No collisions what so ever.
Not sure if I posted that before or after 1.08 GMG, but they fixed a lot of the issues with the grapple in patch 1.08
The reason I use gladiator is because it's good for offense and defense. It's not like I can change armor situationally.
If I went with m. def and p. def I'd lose out on actually killing other players. I know what I'm doing and I'm assessing each situation I'm not just saying "derp lets use only one set" c'mon now.
I'm just saying that there is equipment that offers magical defense. Just because you take too much damage from magic, while not using equipment to prevent it, its no reason to call a class overpower/unbalanced, which you did.
And the game is all about balancing damage vs. protection. If you want to do a lot of damage, then you have to take a lot of damage too, if you want to be a tank, well, you know. You cant have both. Try to explore all combinations and see what is best against hybrid Zeus players and Ares players. The game its not 100% balanced, I'll give you that, but using the right equipment can make all the difference.
I'm sure this is already a thing, probably DLC in the future, but there should bean Athena alignment.
Athena would be mainly about passive perks(things like health recovery, magic recovery, temporary ungrabability, temporary invincibility, temporary speed boost, temporary attack boost, temp defense boost, temp force field, long range item grab. Obviously not all at once, but selectable magic/item/relics) and she should have the lowest physical resistance but medium to high magic and elemental power/defense.
I also think our character's physical appearnce should change depending on alignment.
Hades aligned characters are a more hefty muscular type, like himself, a little fat but still muscley. Dark skin. Purple glowing eyes. Even cooler, maybe have the character be undead.
Ares aligned characters should look the most muscular an heavy on top, they should look almost like steroid abusers. Redish tan skin. Red glowing eyes.
Zues aligned characters should have a faint glow and be sort of evened out. Same skin tone as zues. Yellow glowing eyes
Posideon aligned characters should be somewhat slender but still muscular with. Slight tan. Blue glowing eyes.
There's still one platform in the Olympus. There's hope!
About the skins, awesome idea. I was just thinking of giving 2-3 different body types for you to select, so not every champion would look the same, but making them different per alignment sounds better.
L1+x is MP parry now. How do you input MP sprint these days?
Helped with them anyway. Grab targeting issues will not go quietly. Expect them in SP as well. Just like GoWIII.
Ghedorah: >Athena covenant
She already has a Champion. He's in SP. It's Kratos. She doesn't need the riff-raff of MP. She already has the best.
NOTE: There was a fifth stairwell in the tutorial. The only other god they talked about as if they would get a highlight in this entry was Artemis and there is a Blade for her in there, but Athena has tools too. Hard to say. Helios and Hermes were both major players in GoWIII, but I can't say for sure who *if anyone* might take the role of a fifth patron deity.
