I was wondering, how the heck does the XP distribution work in multiplayer? Sometimes I get like 6000, then 1500, then 4500, etc...
I just don't get why sometimes i get so much and sometimes a tiny bit even if i win.
usually you would get up to 1500xp or 2000xp if you did good in a match, if higher it means you have finished a labor that gives you more. Cuz of the labors ppl have been mistakenly think that double or triple xp would have given them a bunch load.
favor and xp are 2 different things. favor is just the points you get. how you get xp is by beating labors and getting those medal things you get, such as; double kill, mockery, treasure hunter, bravado, 3 killstreak, 5 killstreak, 10 killstreak, etc.
As most say, you must have completed labours to get more XP "out of nowhere"; regular match XP are between 1000-2000.
But you do get XP for earned favour, there's an icon in the post game screen named "MatchXP" or such.
It should be worth around a quarter of the total favour you got during a match.
Sometimes you lose. At other times others will win, though.
