God of War: Ascension Multiplayer

I was just on ign reading an article on gow and they mentioned a third weapon class. Idk if its true but i would like to think so.  I havent seen any other posts on it but my guess would be some spear type trident object of death. Any ideas or confirmed information?

Tank had mentioned on another thread there is going to be a 3rd weapon class, as well as a 4th MP mode. Not sure if we'll be able to play them in the beta though. In terms of what the 3rd weapon class could be, I think spear (maybe combined with shield?) is a possibility.

The pre-order bonus Leonidas skin and weapon might be a giveaway considering Leonidas mostly uses a spear!

I think you are right... as the pre order bonus also say that you will get leonidas weapon... so its is either that or we will have 4 weapons.
To be honest, i expected each god to have a different type of weapon...
only 3 is a bummer.

More then likely a spear. I'd kill for axes though

It's definitely a spear. The '300' DLC comes with a spear, after all.

More Weapons the Better!! As Long as its not just about different atks, different stats to, nothing like having a sword and ax with same stats or very close stats and the only difference is in its method of atk. What do you all think?

i think both are important.

I am all about looks, physical and animations.

but in the end, its a pitty that a cool loking weapon with nice moves has crapy stats... 

its a hard formula, but for me both points are key.
