1 Hour and 28 minutes and still "searching for a match"

15 replies 364 views Edited Mar 14, 2013

Really? Yes really. It has been 1 hour 28 minutes after my last match of waiting to be able to join a new one, and guess what... still waiting! Really Sony you have to do something about the freaking servers... it's not fair to buy a game and hope to have fun with it, but it's only a  "Searching ofr match" message all day long... just like maxis with SimCity... i'm sorry but you just failed...

Galibis,

Several things...
1.) calm down
2.) learn how to spell
3.) learn to use punctuation
4.) try and be helpful

5.) check the profanity , it doesn't make you cool

HackHaseoXth,
First, run a speed test on your connection. There are plenty of sites online that do it for free. Just type “speed test” into Google. If it is low, say below 5MB a second than you will experience lag anyway and most likely won’t' want to play. There is too much detail to be passed through on a slow connection, especially if you have others in your house using the internet.

Second, if the test comes back 10MB or higher, then make sure you are not using the demo. I don't know if that would make a difference, but it is worth a shot. Maybe uninstall it just to make sure.

Third, if you are still having issues, check your router/firewall and make sure it’s not blocking communication from your PS3.

If you are still having issues, take your PS3 over to a friend’s house that has faster internet (or already has the game) and try connecting at his place. If it works, then you know it’s your internet connection. If you are still having issues, speak to Gamestop.

No horse, and I don't think I am cooler than anyone else.
Just stating that was over-done and not necessary.

The point is you have no idea what the issue is with the guy. Maybe he actually had a legitimate issue.

Maybe he did make it up and doesn't need your help. But then again, maybe someone else will benefit from the post other than the OP.

Before you start cussing someone out and accusing them of wrong-doings, make sure they deserve it. Until then, give them the benefit of the doubt.

Matchmaking Issues

Mar 21, 2013

I am having a very frustrating issue with this game. I bought it yesterday and immediately went to the multiplayer section. This turned into a nightmare, as I realised I can't get into a match without waiting, and when all the players are there, I just simply get kicked out. Sometimes it takes longer for me to get kicked out (many times it happened as the countdown was going on). I really want to know what to do. I've been trying for hours straight with no more than 2 sucessfull attempts. Is anyone experiencing the same issue ?

use the search bar on the forums or go to the multiplayer section of this forum .this has been talked about numerous times already. maybe those will help.

I too have had the issue and i just leave multiplayer all together then go back in.

That sucks. The longest I've ever had to wait is like 30 sec.
