So a 'moment' wins you over? You a casual player, then?

Well it all depends on how you would define a casual player I guess doesn't it?  Not really sure what that matters though.  That "moment" was the moment where I as a gamer said to myself 'this is awesome!' and made me become a fan of the franchise.  Now I could nitpick over the mechanics of each game or some of the graphical miscues and that stuff.  I choose to base my game opinions on enjoyment.  I have enjoyed them all....

But the first one is reserved for me as the favorite.  It was the one that game me that "Aha!" moment. So yes, in this instance that moment is why this game is my favorite of the series.

I would also like to add something I noticed earlier. I love it when I see gamers throw around the term "vet" in regards to gaming.  Not something to really brag about in my opinion.

A real vet is someone who has served their country. Sacrificed freedoms to uphold others. Sweat, bled, even sometimes killed for a cause or defend something they beliive in. Things of that nature.  I think it's ridiculous that it is associated with playing games.

Now I get that you use the term affectionately and all that.  But when I hear the term vet in regards to gaming I can't help but laugh and think it's  joke.  Far too many of them take it too seriously as well, like they actually accomplished something by sitting playing a game for soo many hours they must be delusional to even entertain the idea of "hey I must be vet!"

Go outside.

Gears: >seems to me
That you're upset. But then, the writing was already on the wall.

>forum elitist
Naturally.

>avoid
Doing a fine job of it. Be advised that 'ignore' is for the weak. Your call.

>been here longer
Hardly. Do you imagine post count is the other concern? Come now, old boy.

>a vet
A vet among vets, really.

>pick apart
You still sore about all that?

>superiority
I have a way with condescension. Comes naturally. I almost cannot help it.

>Im
What?

>can
Don't mind if I do.

>sure I will
A safe bet.

>won't be
You say that now. A man is only as good as his word. How good is yours? Time will tell.

>when the Beta comes out
Until then, I suppose.

>luck
Bleh.

>prosperity
Don't count on it.

Pan: >double post
Use the edit feature, friend.

>how it is defined
And what do you imagine it is? How do you see yourself?

>what that matters
Based on that response alone, it is clear my definition fits. But why aren't you comfortable with this label?

>set piece moment
>made you a fan
Very casual.

>could nitpick over mechanics
>nitpick
Curious wording. Indulge me with your thoughts on "mechanics", why don't you?

>graphical
Also a very casual concern. Shall you go on about story too?

>based on enjoyment
Based on..."fun"?

>why it is a your favorite
I believe my previous response covers this.

>would also like to denote misgivings
By all means.

>love it
You don't. Why pretend otherwise. Be honest with your feelings if you insist on going on about them.

>not something to brag about
Says the non-vet, casual.

>your opinion
Noted. Not held in the same regard as that of another vet, but noted just the same.

>a real vet is
*glove slap*
Let's not get too silly here, chap.

>various words
Come now. Mind your surroundings.

>I think
You should do more of this. Introspect on what you've said and why it is an absurdity to have shared.

>affectionately
Like many things I say.

>can't help but laugh
But not really. It seems to make you cross.

>too seriously
Or just seriously enough?

>actually accomplished something
Pretty casual to imply otherwise, old boy. If you feel so strongly about these views, why then do you resist the label rightly fitted to you?

>delusion
Nonsense, my boy. My wrap sheet is such that I'd have be kidding myself to consider myself anything less.

>go outside
You looking to help me check off inventory, sport?

I think I have also decided that this guy is a bit of a **bleep**.  It's almost like you are single-handedly trying to hamper the positive formation on an online community, before it even gets started by treating people so inferior.

This is not the way build a strong community.  Your word you seem to think is better. In true internetz loser fashion you also feel it necessary to pick apart the most minor grammatical errors, like the self admitted elitist (not a good thing) you are.

I will also disengage from having anyting to do with you.  Feel free to also do your little post dissection with me.  It will also not garner a response. Especially when you can't even directly address each person respectively.  Your posting style is horrendous.

For the record... Im not mad bro.  Just choosing not to associate with the likes of you anymore.  Oh I'll be here don't get me wrong.  I'll be a member of this community because I enjoy the series.  I just don't enjoy you.

Amen...i'm not mad at the guy but he comes across as a total troublemaker who only wants to disrupt  the community for whatever reasons they have for doing so.

Pan: >I think
You're not sure how you feel?

>bit of a 'bleep'
A what?

>trying
I never try anything. I just do it. Want to "try" me?

>positive information
I've got more than any other user regarding this entry. Isn't that neat?

>community before it starts
Are you...implying that MP is needed for such a thing? Because that's heresy.

>so inferior
To be treated according to one's station is not so unusual.

>not the way
I disagree.

>think is better
Rather, I know it to be so.

>internetz
Come now, what year do you imagine this is?

>loser
You seem upset, Pan. But why?

>necessary to help with corrections for the sake of clarity
And you don't appreciate this? Telling.

>self-admitted
I'm honest.

>elitist
>not good
Your opinion is duly noted.

>disengage
You say that now. Hopefully your word is not so cheap as recent others giving similar such lines.

>anyting
What?

>feel free
I believe this dance has been done (and recently).

>also not
>also
And yet here we are.

>can't directly address each person respectively
What a strange thing to say. That's precisely what I've done.

>horrendous
You love it. I can tell.

>not mad
Sure you are, sport.

>just
Quite cross.

>don't enjoy me
You're thin of skin and easily flustered. This I understand. You'll learn better in time, so as to make good use of useful gents like myself.

Morty: >Amen
What a strange opening.

>i'm
Don't think enough of yourself to capitalize the "I"?

>but
You forgot the comma.

>total troublemaking 'silly word'
Come now. Let's not get too childish with the pet names.

>who only wants

Oh? Toyed with it have you? What's the highest setting you've cleared for that entry? I presume the Challenge of Olympus (and Exile if you have those) was cleared. The Plat is a given.
