Kratos has commitment issues.

Why is it that in every game Kratos has to use all new weapons and magic? I get that it needs to keep things fresh but I would at least like to know where he's storing this stuff!

Also I get that some magic in the games are linked with items but for the ones that aren't: why does Kratos not have his old magic? Like Typhons Bane or Atlas Quake?

Does he still know it but chooses not to use it?

Are these impossible questions that could only be answered by the makers of god of war?

I always thought of them as "blessings" from respected titans and gods. They just wear off I guess.

that is a great question. When he was a God he use Poseidon rage. You would think the God of War would have  his own powers.

I can't remember which game it was, but I recall seeing Athena and Zeus removing the weapons and items that he had acquired in the game. I've always been under the impression that many of his weapons/items/magics are taken away from him when he is getting screwed by the other gods at the beginning of the games.

Ehhh, I never really cared for kratos' weapons.
My favorite weapon you could attain though were the fists of Cerberus in god of war 3.
I believe that's what they were called, sorry if I'm wrong Smiley Wink

At the end of CoO, Athens and Helios removed the GoZ and the SS from Kratos while he was unconscious on the bluffs overlooking the Aegean.

Austin: I believe you're referencing the Nemean Cestus that Kratos takes from Hercules.
