Re: Anyone Notice Sound is sometimes not in sync or not even there?

I don't know man. I'm worried this demo was pulled from the full game.

These same issues were present in god of war 3. Santa Monica needs to fix this please!!

Low Gameplay Audio issues

Mar 12, 2013

Comparing this game to other PS3 games i own &  Espescially God of War 3 the background music & sound effects during gameplay (Single-player & Multiplayer) is pretty low & the game settings is on defaulth. i Respect this Franchise & Santa Monica Studios to the fulliest so i really hope with the next upcoming game update (1.xx) the Audio issues will be addressed. For Everyone else please comment if you're having audio issues also

Playing in 7.1 sounds great.  Some gameplay sections sound softer than others though.  But there is also proximity audio where the further away you are the lower the sound effects, closer the louder, etc.  Especially evident after you beat the Hand and you're back in the prison where you can go right up to the camera or far in the background.

i noticed this as well, with even some audio lag, but no input lag.  i am play through an external speaker from my tv, which would cause some delay, but not 2-3 seconds.  for isntance when pressing R1 to execute an enemy, when ripping them in half or their head off, i wont hear the gore sound till after the action is done.  i've even tried doing the audio lag compensation on my tv and it does nothing in game.  im playing in stereo mode, through a 2.1 logitech set.

Audio is the worst I have ever experience. Spatial location is one thing, but the levels are so low to begin with that it makes it almost inaudible. The delay between sounds as well as some sound effects just not being there altogether is totally unacceptable.

Welcome to the club.  I've been experience the same audio problems.

It's to the point where I am considering not playing the game until it is resolved.  I find it that annoying.

I'm playing in dts 5.1. And, the audio is lower than either of the 2 demos I've played.
