GoW question

30 replies 396 views Edited Jan 1, 2013

I know this would probably never happen...but just out of curiosity how many of you would buy (or re-buy) all of the God of War games if they were remade with GoW 3 graphics?

I probably would. I'd love to see the exact same games with newer graphics.

And another question. How much would you be willing to pay for them?

I hate to admit it but I would probably be one of the people to re-buy the games if they were remade with GoW III/GoW Ascension graphics.

The first God of War is still my overall favorite and to have it remade with some control enhancements, graphical enhancements and "Directors Cut" style content added back into it would be a very tempting buy.

Unfortunately I doubt this would ever happen because in order to have even one of the orginals completely remade in the manner I  am implying would take as long as developing a new God of War title. Still, one can dream!

>re-buy for GoWIII graphics
No. They would need to do more than that to get me to go back to older entries when I've already done work for them.

I'd rather that if they go back, they make improvements, but I can only imagine them bungling that up, so I would be hesitant about their touching GoW1 or GoWII. It might help CoO and GoS though.

GoWIII itself could use fixes. Ascension will likely need the same ones.

>remade with control enhancements
Like what, exactly?

>graphical enhancements
Meh.

>content added back in
Lots of work to get some of that jazz into the game. Upper Pandora's Guardian, Cronos mounting/Desert Sand chase, Blood Sacrifice (CoO), Ice Spell (GoWII), etc.

>one can dream
And a dream it shall remain.

I'd definitely buy GoWII, which is tied with III for my favorite.]

GoWI is my least favorite though so I doubt i'd buy it outside of some kind of bundle.
