Galibaba as usual you have absolutely no idea how televisions work.....so shush and listen . Upsacaling is NOT stretching the image. Upscaling is a conversion done where lines are added to fill in an image. It is not progressively scanning the image, it is mathmatically adding these lines to make the image fuller. A 72op image will always look better than an upscaled 1080 i image because a 720p image contains twice the information thus resulting in a better picture. Progressive scan basically scans both parts of an image simultaneously whereas interlaced images are scanned horizontally then vertically. But anyway did you end upp getting the resolution to work out at 720p?
