the absolute best of HDTV available now is the sony bravia XBR series, they're not cheap, (40" = 2000+) but u'll get the absolute best of quality and sound, i really recomend the 37" XBR. its great and trust me it'll last u for years....

Re: Wh u is the best HDTV for PS3???

they're not just good, they're the best. lemme tell u an personal experience, my cousine bought a 52" sony V-series, and a friend of mine bought a 52" Bravia XBR, the picture quality is quite diffrenet, the V seires looks like its doing interlaced even thought it says its running progressive, but the XBR has the sharper crispier, lighter, better, and amazing pic quality i've ever seen. now for the price, the V-series cost him around $2900, while the XBR $4500, both including a stand and a 5.1 dolby surround sound. so my advice if ur not sure go to a sony style store look at both of them and see how much diffrent the pic is...

I have a 46 inch 1080p Sharp Aquos LCD HDTV, and it goes perfect with my PS3.

I recommend getting a Sony Bravia or a Sharp Aquos. They'll probably have some good deals on Black Friday.

If your budget is around 800 you can get a real good plasma tv.

I have the 50" 85 U and it's abousolutly gorgeous, best purchase to date. Also you won't get better PQ for that size and for that price. If you don't mind dishing out around 900 bucks you can get the 50".
