Error 80710723 Dust 514 Beta Update

Everytime I try to complete the update patch for Dust 514's beta client I get an error 80710723. Apparently it means the network has timed out, however my connection is still running even when it occurs. I'm always still signed into psn when I'm kicked from the update menu and my connection on all of my other computers is running fine, I just can't seem to get this update to complete. Don't want to just keep trying and hope for the best because the massive 1.6GB update is just adding up every time I try to do it (which can't be good at all for my bandwidth limit). Any advice on how to keep the update going would be much appreciated.

Re: Error 80710723 Dust 514 Beta Update

The server is probably overloaded by too many beta users.  The connection that the PS3 is referring to is the connection between your PS3, and the server that the update files are hosted on.  It doesn't refer specifically to your Internet connection.  The servers that process PSN logins are separate, so the fact that you are still signed in to PSN doesn't mean that you are "connected" for the update; just as the fact that you didn't lose connectivity to the Internet does not mean that you are connected as far as the update is concerned.  Wait a couple of days before trying again, or try again during the early morning hours when fewer people are online.

Re: Error 80710723 Dust 514 Beta Update

I am having somewhat of a similiar problem with the new precersour patch update. I have posted a new thread laying it out. Theres no way its because of an over loaded server. This is a closed beta, simply not enuff ppl trying to DL the update at this point in time.
