Hey guy i wanted to ask about the VAIO. I am currently looking for a laptop (perferably by SONY like VAIO) but i would like something like this: Intel i7, RAM 3gb, 60GB - 250 HDD, 4Gb DDR3, 9 inch screen+, Price from $99 - $300

I really don't think you'll find what you want in that price range.  Also, it sounds like you want, more specifically, a netbook.  There are computers in that range, but not with such high specs.  Also: "RAM 3gb...4Gb DDR3?"  Which do you want?  Sony computers are often more expensive than other brands.  I considered getting a Vaio laptop for its Blu-Ray player, but it otherwise wasn't as good as the one I got for $130 cheaper.

You're not going to get a laptop that small with an i7 or 4Gb or RAM.

You're talking about a netbook. And netbook typically sell for $250-350

For a decent laptop, expect to pay over $600.

NO laptop below $1000 comes with an Intel i7.

If you want a gaming laptop, be prepared to spend over $1500.

Not true, but as I said, it's certainly out of the price range OP stated.  You can get netbooks with 4 GB RAM but they're closer to $500.  You can get laptops with i7 processors for $900 (maybe lower, I haven't been looking or anything).  Regardless, OP is way underestimating the cost.  I'm not sure they want a gaming laptop anyway (9 inch screen? no graphics card?).

Whatever you do, don't set the BIOS password on a VAIO and promptly forget it. Sony charges a princely repair fee to recover the lost password.

Well i will be doing some gaming but very Mild. only like Battlefield P4F, Crossfire and of courrse Minecraft

But still does any1 have a recommendation? Some people from my school have been telling me to build one but i would really perfer to just one preasembled i would buy 1 used if i really needed too. I like the T series 11.6 VAIO Customizable laptop ultra book the costumization is: 3rd gen Intel® Core™ i7-3517U processor (1.90GHz / 3.00GHz with Turbo Boost), Intel® HD Graphics 4000, 4GB (4GB fixed onboard + 1 open slot) DDR3-1333Mhz, 320GB (5400rpm) + 32GB MLC hybrid hard drive with RAID 0, Microsoft Windows® 7 Home Premium, Standard Lithium Ion Battery (4000mAh). Do you guys think this would be a good VAIO laptop but it might come up to $800 Maximum which is twice + $200 of what i wanted to spend.
