I was playing Call of Duty BO2 and I had a quick scoping match against him and won. He got mad and left the lobby, and a couple minutes later he invited me to 1v1 him again, and I joined his party. His party was full of Prestige Masters and he said I was gonna get booted offline in 3 hours. (this just happened a couple minutes ago) I'm afraid that they have a hack and will boot me offline pretty soon and I wanted to know if I could somehow avoid this. I have a PS3 and I really don't want to be booted offline. Please help if you can

And for him to boot you he needs your ipaddress and stuff on line. You cant get that just off a simple console game. Hes bluffing you to spook you. On PSN he should be under players met on the XMB. Block him and then report a grivance against him
That's actually not true at all. You can get an IP address off of any Peer to Peer game where you are connecting directly to others (that includes on the PSN). It's not hard, actually.
More than likely he was just bluffing.
Most people who say "Hey, I'm gonna hack you" or whatever, can't actually do anything.
I know a few hackers! But there are good hackers who just joke around. You also have disrespectful hackers who take and steal. I know from experience and seen it first hand. Best friend back in 2004 hacked Unreal servers and change all gamer tags to Pepsi, Coke, sprite, Doctor pepper.
Counter strike use to have a hacker server. Player could play with hacks created without ban. Not sure if they still exist.
