RE5: GE PS+ free error

hi I was just trying to download the RE5: Gold edition it says it's free for PS+ Users but when I try to download the game it says I have to add funds to purchase it, just wanted to know if anyone else has this issue and thanks for whatever help you can provide.

Having the same issue. Don't know what's going on, but hope it's resolved in a timely manner.

I really don't like this new update!! It's making it seem like I have two options in order to get RE5 gold. Either purchase for $29.99 or download the Full Game Trial and play for 60 minutes, even though it said playstation plus next to it!! I thought it was a free full game!! Not a trial!! I hope they added another choice, maybe saying something less confusing like "Free for PS+ Members Download"!! So I'm currently downloading the trial, we'll see where that takes me

I too came across this questionable mystery. Unfortunately it doesn't look as though either option is the "free game" option, so I just stuck with the 60-minute trial for the time being. The way this new store is setup is in bad condition. While it may look nice, underneath the skin there's troubles brewing.

Exact same problem thought it was me acting like an idiot. I really like the new playstation store because it is alot more steamlined but Im guessing that it has caused alot of glitches and problems. Hope they resolve this fast :/

So I have Playstaion Plus, and I tried to download Resident Evil 5. I went to checkout,  and it didn't bring me to the  'add funds' screen that it usually would. I checked my bank account and it charged me for it.

 

Is there anyway I can get a refund, or do I just have to eat the $30 and be salty about it?

I was charged $29.99 for this "free" download. Been a Plus subscriber nearly since its inception and my subscription is active until June 2013.

Already called customer support and provided my information, it was explained that it will take 10-15 days to verify my Plus status and subsequently refund my money.

Absolutely, deeply, seriously 100% not happy about this. Not happy about being charged $30 for a game I would not have paid for, not happy with a 10-15 day wait for refund.

Get this squared away, Sony.

Yes there is an issue with the new store. I talked to CS they said if you were charged for RE5 gold and you have plus, you will get a refund. Funny thing I noticed when I was in the store. If you put something in your cart. You have no way of removing it. I guess there using the fly paper sales model now. You touched it now you have to own it lol.....
