hi I was just trying to download the RE5: Gold edition it says it's free for PS+ Users but when I try to download the game it says I have to add funds to purchase it, just wanted to know if anyone else has this issue and thanks for whatever help you can provide.
I too came across this questionable mystery. Unfortunately it doesn't look as though either option is the "free game" option, so I just stuck with the 60-minute trial for the time being. The way this new store is setup is in bad condition. While it may look nice, underneath the skin there's troubles brewing.
So I have Playstaion Plus, and I tried to download Resident Evil 5. I went to checkout, and it didn't bring me to the 'add funds' screen that it usually would. I checked my bank account and it charged me for it.
Is there anyway I can get a refund, or do I just have to eat the $30 and be salty about it?
Already called customer support and provided my information, it was explained that it will take 10-15 days to verify my Plus status and subsequently refund my money.
Absolutely, deeply, seriously 100% not happy about this. Not happy about being charged $30 for a game I would not have paid for, not happy with a 10-15 day wait for refund.

Yes there is an issue with the new store. I talked to CS they said if you were charged for RE5 gold and you have plus, you will get a refund. Funny thing I noticed when I was in the store. If you put something in your cart. You have no way of removing it. I guess there using the fly paper sales model now. You touched it now you have to own it lol.....
