PS Plus Subscription and Credit Card

I was wondering. The 30 day trial codes given with the ps4 require you to add your credit card info to use. Is this a new requirement? If i bought another year subscription from amazon would I have to enter my CC info as well? Also with the 30day code, can I add my CC info then use the code then remove my CC info? I really dont want to leave my CC on my PSN Account.

No, this requirement is only for the 30 day trial, a one year subscription will not require a credit card.

And yes, you can add the credit card just to add the 30 days then immediately remove it.

Also make sure you disable auto-renew if you do no want to continue to be a subscriber.
