Best Story in a Videogame?

Game narratives have been getting better and better especially this gen. What game do you think has the best story? (Either in the way its presented or just the sheer creativity of the narrative)

My picks:

For the way the story is told

For the sheer expansiveness of the fiction

Overall, just best story period.

Uncharted 2 has an excellent story. Red Dead Redemption's story line is pretty good too.

Uncharted 2 had a great story.

No plot twist or anything like that..

Just an adventure! ..and clever jokes.

For this gen, I would go with Heavy Rain. Well structed story with no plotholes.

Modern Warfare had a good story to it but Modern Warfare 2 story sucked.

Heavenly Sword had one of the better stories out there.

New gen I would have to say Red Dead Redemption and Dynasty Warriors 7. SO dramatic! but thats the point right? Betrayal, broken friendships, death of loved ones, romance and cool moustages and horses make epic games. lol

Well this is a generation where many developers have underachieved... they are more concern with money than finishing the complete product. But Heavy Rain showed effort. It was like watching a movie. A solid one if I might add.
