You get to play it as long as your PS+ subscription is valid.  So your PS+ expires in 90 days, you get to play for 90 days; if it expires in 6 days, you get to play for 6 days.

You may be thinking about game trials; they are good for 1 hr.  As long as Infamous 2 is in the "game locker" and available to PS+ subscribers, you are golden.

If I downloaded a game as a Playstation+ member (back in June 2011 ; but I already deleted the game) ,and now I want to renew my membership,will I still be able to download said game? It doesn't seem to show up in my history of downloads..I guess it appears there when I renew my membership?

I renew my PS+ but the games are showing the same remaining time as before. Is that ok?

Yes; incorrect expiration date is just a stupid PS+ bug that Sony hasn't bothered to fix.  You can either start playing a PS+ game, and the expiration date will get updated, or start to download it again.

Yes - You have access to everything currently available to PS+ subscribers.  If for whatever reason - say on Sep 1 - a game like infamous 2 is removed, as long as you have previously "purchased" it for "free" you can continue to play it as long as you are a PS+ subscriber.

Is there a way to check how much time is left on your PS+ subscription? Even if there is no penalty for letting it expire before reupping I would still like to know if it's possible. Thanks.

Does the sub account have access to the PS+ that was created on the master account?  If yes, how?

Yes, subaccounts have access to everything except account specific items such as avatars.  Just use the master account to download PS+ games and the subaccounts can use them without issue.
