no you will not be able to download stuff off the internet because from what i've heard theres a limited amount of space on on the HDD and its only formated to be used with the FFXI game and nothing else. thats what i read anyway

I think it was about 12 GB for the PS2 HDD.  Ill have to double check on that one.  It installs the PlayOnline Navagitor thing and FFXI along with Tetra Master

so you can go online and download stuff? are you sure? well i do know the non-beta version of the HDD will have 40GB of space and you can download stuff onto it like in japan

Yes you can I have the Playstation Magazine that says so plus it have the behind the scenes off the network adaptor and it says that you will be able to download games, movies, and etc. from the PS2 console. Maybe the beta hardrive is 8 or 12 GB but the HDD that they are selling in 2004 will be 40 GB I read alot of information about this and the FFXI.
