If you consider the sheer number of different aspects in a game to make the game "complex", I guess you could say FFTA is complex.  It's got nearly 300 missions, quite a number of different jobs your characters can have and change to, loads of equiptment, items, and abilities to learn and use.  The gameplay itself, though, isn't really complex at all...fairly straightforward turn-based RPG stuff, with some extra strategic elements thrown in.

It's not so bad. It does get annoying learning the laws but aside from that it is a good game.

FFTA is an awesome game. Easily one of the best in the FF lineage. The missions... The Jobs... It is all there. There was only one thing that I didnt like about FFTA: The damn jagds. I am glad that i didnt die but i lost my sage and my palidin. Other then that it was a good game.

id reccomend the game. if you like the PSX Tactics game, youll love this one. I wouldnt say its complex at all, very easy to learn (at least for me it was) and its definatly worth the $35 bucks.
