Subscription fee?

im assuming there is a subscription fee that we would have to pay to play this game...

does anyone know how much it is? for a month, 6 months, a year?

Nobody knows quite yet. Based off of FFXI's fee of $12.95 for the base, I would think it'll be around the $13 or $15 dollar range as these fees seem to be the industry standard.

i honestly wouldnt be surprised to see a subscription feel in the 15-20 dollar range. with how expensive the games and systems are now, it just makes sense to charge more with cause im sure cost and maintenence of the servers have increased as well.

that would be rediculous. no one would pay 240 dollars a year to play a game. i sure as hell wont. i dont even pay the 13 bucks for 11. then they should hand out hte game for free then, if they are goin to get that much a year just off one person.

$240 at $20/month.

I figure $15 a month. Thats the basic WoW cost right now (unless it's changed in the last few months), and that game (while updated constantly) is years old now. I dont see a new game costing less per month. Everquest 2 is the same I think, or atleast within $1 or so.

i understand how they work. and i know they need the money to keep servers going, and updates. but i refuse to pay it. its only 15-20 bucks. but when your married and have two kids, that could be money for the kids to do something.
