If i buy final fantasy using the playstation network can i play on both my devices? Can i transfer back an forth between my psp and ps3 using the same save data or does it only work on the device with the orginal save? Sorry if this has been asked before and i hope this makes sense.

Re: Question about psp/ps3 final fantasy

Which Final Fantasy?

PS1 Classics: Yes, you can play it on both the PSP and the PS3, and you can transfer your save. These are VII, VIII, IX, and Tactics.

PSP Games: No, this would be like I, II, and FFIV Complete, you can only play on the PSP.

Re: Question about psp/ps3 final fantasy

Your first answer was what I needed, thanks. So do I just hook my psp to my ps3 when I want to transfer the Data from my psp to ps3 and vice versa?

Re: Question about psp/ps3 final fantasy

Yes, you just use a USB cable. You can use the same one you use to charge your PS3 controllers.

On the PSP in the settings you have to select USB mode, then on the PS3 you select the game and press triangle, should be an option to move it to the PSP.
