I like making DDs feel like crap when i'm on THM dealing 450+ nukes on crits and 295+ on normal hits, while keeping up my damage with thunder/thunder 2.

Looks like Phase 4 Open Beta will last a week only.

Arcanist class will be available at phase 4

Voice acting will be available at phase 4

There will be some kind of exp bonus for secondary class after completion of first 50 class/job.

HQ crafting from NQ materials will have adjustment.

No more reading subtitles on cutscenes? :manvery-happy: That is awesome! I hope any Phase 4 characters carry over to retail.

P.S. I will likely be switching over to the "Gilgamesh" server during Phase 4. I'm following my Free Company there.

Looks like players will get extra rewarded for helping newbies in dungeons.

http://www.bluegartr.com/showthread.php?p=5805771#post5805771

A summary of other stuff he said:

They're trying to get Arcanist ready for Phase 4
Please wait a little more for the details on how Arcanist works (perhaps revealed in the upcoming Niconico Live Event?)

Event Bosses implemented in Phase 4

SLI support implemented in Phase 4

Male Miqotes (and other races?) will have unique motions when entering baths

When leveling a second class, you will have bonus exp

Addressed a bug where the cursor goes funny in some instances

Adjustments to how (slow/fast) a Gatherer levels

Adjustments (maybe) to the ease of making HQs from NQ materials in crafting

An in-game event will be implemented right away after Launch (Bomb Event?)

The dev team has designed endgame events to outright kill players

(The Labyrinth of) Bahamut is so long, it pretty much requires players to 'save progress' as they proceed through the dungeon

No plans to implement a 'your server only' option for the Duty Finder as for now

As per why he came to that decision for the last point, Yoshi-P made a long post about the Duty Finder in which he explains why, so wait till the offical translated response for that.

So I'm guessing the new Beta key email I got is for phase 4?

I don't budlist-add on forums, and blank PSN requests get ignored!
Missing Rewards -over a year old, still never fixed! 3-4 months worth of items still MIA.

No that's for the current closed beta, which is phase 3. Phase 3 will end next Monday at 2AM. You will also have to delete phase 3 beta client and it will also un-sync your PSN account and Squate Enix account. Phase 4 will be open beta, which means it arrive to the PSN store.

Let's say that you have a Free Company (guild basicly) that's planning to go to one server AND you have a friend whom is planning on going to a different server. :manfrustrated: Whom do you follow?

Following a friend or follwing a Free Company? I'd say that better be your best friend, otherwise you're just going follow someone's else decision instead of making your own choice. I know I'm going to Behemoth server once phase 4 start right to the game's launch. Gilgamesh is the highest NA population (Lots of redditors are on there), Behemoth has the second highest NA population, and Leviathan has the third highest NA population.

Phase 3 was such a fun experiment for me. It pretty much thought me how to play my classes very proficiently while also showing me and my friends what bosses are capable of, so pretty much they won't okey doke us. So come phase 4 I will be going hard on the FFXIV so when early release arrives I'll be beyond ready.
