I want to put this out there for the ones who doesn't know the latest news. ![]()
Final Fantasy XIII Screenshots and more. . .
It didn't take long for people to decompile Square-Enix's new flash official Final Fantasy XIII site. From the site we now have some huge official character renders of Lightning, Vanille and Snow, some of the screenshots we've received in the latest selection of scans released officially and the new music playing in the background. Here it all is for your convenience. For people downloading, I apologise for there being no ETA on downloads at the moment. I'm still attempting to fix it.
You can view it all at FF-XIII.

Description. . .
~ The story began in Midgar, city of mako, where a corporate superpower known as Shinra used its monopoly of mako energy to dominate all aspects of life, securing political power in the process. Shinras mako reactors dotted in the city, harvesting the energy and converting it to a viable source of power.
However, mako energy was not the wellspring of happiness Shinra claimed it to be, but rather the vitality of the planet itself, the source of all life. Some began to realize: If we let this continue, the planet will die. These individuals set up an anti-Shina organization called Avalanche, and began resistance efforts using guerilla tactics.
Finally, Avalanche decided to blow up one of the mako reactors. Among the members chosen for the mission was Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinras elite guard, SOLDIER.
Cloud showed no emotion and was bound by no principles; he was an ex-SOLDIER and a merc, and there was nothing more to be said. The reactor strike awoke in Cloud the need to confront the holes in his past and his very reasons for being. And that journey, perhaps took the heaviest toll...
Two years have passed...
Though Midgar, city of mako, city of prosperity, has been reduced to ruins, the people slowly but steadily walk the road to reconstruction.
However, a mysterious illness called geostigma torments them.
With no cure in sight, it brings death to the afflicted, one after another, robbing the people of their fledgling hope.
And so Cloud, who walked away from the life of a hero to live in solitude, must step forward yet again.
Edit: Here's a screenshot I ran into, this one is pretty neat.

april 16 japan...i read june in or something in the US... I also read that the Japanese release blu ray should have english voice overs on it for those who care... i wonder about subtitles though. I pre-ordered the import with FFXIII demo lol...i'll see how that goes.
Ok, Ill edit and put Japan because it never said for which country.
About the subtitles, I bet it will have the same ones that the regular Advent Children had but what I know for sure about the language it will be English and Japanese only.
