thinking of picking up fallout 3.

i am aware of bethesdas horrible ps3 porting. i know this game has freezing issues and eventually framerate issues. i think i read that the GOTY edition was worse.

so is the regular or GOTY copy more stable?  and what are the things i need to avoid doing during my play? example selling thieves guild armour in skyrim..

Re: thinking of picking up fallout 3.

At this point just getting the GOTY is probably the better move. While the regular version is more stable, you will need to at least get the Broken Steel DLC, which is still $10.

*Spoilers*

- If you choose to blow up Megaton, don't without starting the Wasteland Survival Guide quest and obtaining the Strength bobblehead.

- Don't leave Raven Rock without the Energy Weapon bobblehead.

- At beginning of the game, don't miss the Medicine bobblehead in Vault 101. You will have another chance to get it, but it's way easier just to get it early on.

- Use VATS often. In FO3, the guns are so freaking inaccurate its shameful.

I never really had many issues with Fallout 3 freezing on me and the GOTY is definitely worth it. Broken Steel is a must and Point Lookout is also very fun.

More like the guns are so inaccurate it is physically impossible.
