Yes. Still just rolls credits to the menu.

EDIT: after trying MANY more times to play the end of the game. I re-installed the game AGAIN and the DLC AGAIN and it finally worked. Holy crap what a headache. I wanted to play this last night SO bad.

I noticed when I first downloaded it, I never got the message that says that it was downloaded, but as soon as I saved a mesage popped up.

Did you wait 24 in game hours?

this works the same as Oblivion.  After 24 hours you will get a message telling you its active.

I am trying again for the third time to install Broken Steel and it has not worked so far. I have deleted the game data, reinstalled it and played through the game twice. Just the main quest mind you. Still to no avail. It may work after this third try but if not, any suggestions?

I have also emailed Bethesda to see if they have any suggestions but no reply yet. Any help would be great.

I am also a new PS3 user, if that matters, so I may be doing something wrong but I have followed all instructions posted.

In the playstation menu, go to game data utility (under the Game column) and find "Fallout 3" and "Fallout 3 DLC".

This whole trial and error thing wouldn't be so bad if it didn't take 45 min to re-download every time.

This is actually quite an odd issue. Everyone i know with the game has downloaded all DLC and never had problems. I myself have downloaded each DLC two times each and never had a problem.

I would recommend deleting the game date utility and the DLC, and re download and install the DLC.

When you get into the game make sure your not in the last mission in the Memorial station. If your outside I find the game will pick it up quicker. It should take about 24 in game hours to pick up. Just wait and it should work.

Been through all this before... to no avail.

Just got off the phone with Sony. Told me to try using a wired connection, rather than Wi-Fi.

Here goes nothing.
